policy we inform you which data and information we collect. Why we do this, what
we do with them, which rights you have as a user and where you can receive
information about this topic. This privacy policy is base on the General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR).

and what do we do with them
We collect data, so that we can open user
accounts and offer our service (e.g. chatting, media exchange).
In order
to identify a user, we collect data such as profile name, name, profile photo
and email address. You can view and modify this data in your profile. Basically
needed is only a profile name and email address. In addition you can add
more information in your profile. Depending on how you want to use sciu.
Technical data resulting from the use of our service or visits to our website
are stored and evaluated when they are designated to implement and improve our
service.
This data is anonymous. These are, for example, Information such as
IP address and cookies. In your browser, you can object to the storage of
cookies. It may be that some services can not be used then.
Other
data we collect is information about bought items and content that is viewed as
part of our service, performance information of our service, equipment
characteristics, statistical and anonymous information about the usage
behaviour, browser types, maybe location data, contact information,
correspondence with our service department, and access token to third-party
services, such as Twitter or Facebook.

We use encryption techniques to protect your data and content.
In our
company, only authorized employees as part of their tasks have access to the

While chatting, commenting and
media upload such data is delivered to the recipients selected by you. The data
is stored on our servers.
Profile data can be visible to friends, groups
or third parties, unless you've selected this.

basis of judicial decisions.
If you have linked your user account with
other services, then it may be that data will be transferred there within the

4. Duration of data retention
We store the messages sent by you and
other media types for a maximum of 90 days in order for the chat, backup and
synchronization function to be functional.
From this scheme we differ
only in the context of legal obligations.
Profile information, and
information about your collection is permanent. Only when you give your account
for deletion free, these data will be deleted.
By using our service you
agree to the storage of your messages and media.
5. Rights under the the
data protection law
You can get information about the data stored with
us, free of charge and without giving reasons. This request must be in writing.
You can withdraw your consent to use your data. You can rectify or delete
your data. When legal reasons prevent the deletion, these data are stored under
statutory deadlines.
6. Use of cookies and web beacons
Cookies are

interest-based advertising is an interesting form of advertising. But you can
opt out of interest-based advertising. We stop to use the anonymous profile
data and by then only standardized advertising is shown to you.

In the case of adjustments to our
services, we reserve the right to change this privacy policy. In case of any
changes regarding the use of personal data, you will be informed at a
suitable location, or in person. Please check at regular intervals if you want
to use our service under existing conditions still. If you continue to use
our service after those changes, you accept the new terms. We will ask for your
consent again, should the changes be significant.
10. Facebook Plugin

Analytics

store both informations, that you have given “+1” for a content, as well as the
information about the page you viewed when you clicked on +1. Your + 1's can be
shown as information along with your name and profile photo in Google services,

Terms and Conditions form the basis for business
of the sciu, Martin Bechberger und Andreas Gardemann GbR (hereinafter "we" and
"us"), offering the service to our users. If other language versions differ by
inaccuracies in the translation of the German version, the version of the Terms
and Conditions in the German language takes precedence.
1. Registration
and Acceptance of Terms
1.1 When registering a user account truthful
information must be provided.
1.2 The acceptance is by confirming the
acknowledgment of the Terms and conditions during the registration process and
through continued use of our service.

4. Access to and use of
sciu
4.1 After completion of registration you will have access to sciu
and be able to use our service.
4.2 The service is aimed at people aged 16
and over. Accounts of individuals under the age of 16 will be blocked.
4.3
You may not use our service to resell or charge for the use of others.
4.4
Changes, modifications, tampering, copying or circumvent security measures and
reengineering are expressly prohibited. Offences are prosecuted.
4.5 Unless
you have agreed to the method of automatically matching contact, contact details
of yourself and others from your address-directory are sent to our server, in
order to be compared and to make you contact suggestions. This data is only sent
as a hash value, it is only transmitted encrypted and compared automatically.
This method provides a very convenient way to give you contact suggestions with
whom you can use sciu together.
4.6 You expressly agree not to use
technologies that can do us harm or other users. We take measures to us and
other users to protect against tampering. Other users can not be bothered. Users
can be blocked and reported.
4.7 In particular, the use of the following
content is prohibited:

Protection State Treaty (JMStV) or content that affect the development of
children according to § 5 JMStV
• No illegal content of any kind

Pornographic content

4.8 We have taken extensive measures to ensure a high availability of
our services. In some cases it is possible, caused by maintenance, exceptional
costs of the system and technical faults that the system may fail. On our
website we will inform you of the status. Our service is not to be used for
emergency calls.
4.9 At irregular intervals we will adapt our service and
functionality. You can download these updates to your device.

without warranty.

relation to these claims indemnify (including reasonable legal fees and costs).
